I see on the NE Icehockey forum, people are reporting that the rink will be going ahead and should be open for next December.

Im still wondering a bit if it will happen, but im still not convinced by a company to pour so much money into a project with the current financial status!

There was a meeting/Xmas get together tonight to discuss the plans and show old tapes etc wasn't there?
Wonder if it's come off the back of that.

Yeah there was a 'get together' the other night in Durham regarding this, by all accounts the night was a sucess and people where happy with the progress, so it may be somebody putting people off by saying what maplins posted from the bombers forum.

We will have to just wait and see, no doubt there will be a press release from the cdif about it, or will there?

18th Feb, 'Community channel' 539 on Sky, 10pm check out a class ice-hockey programme called 'Thin ice'. Finishes off at this ice-rink DJ went passed. Andy - check out the Choco nerangay song.
