Hell of a game played in front of a big crowd lots of free tickets given away, must have been near 1000 in the onld Wigwam!
Warriors showed a never say die attitude to pull the game out of the fire when it looked as if the Lions would get the draw they were playing for.
Great advert for ENL and northeast hockey!

Ah man, what a game!! I must admit I didn't think we'd win this and after some sloppy plays during the first I was sure we'd lose. Nottingham were tightly knit all game and their passing out shone ours but we defiantly wanted the win more than them and managed to successfully fight for it! We seemed to lack confidence when we were in their zone but a few goals scored and we were back on the offence. Great atmosphere and what a crowd!!! Easily 800+ there I'd say.

WOOP WOOP!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT A WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!! An excellent game of hockey tonight. The Warriors played their socks off and totally deserved the 2 points. I was worried a couple of times but we did it!!! A fantastic game, and the crowd were loud  We were jumping up and down all over the place BRING ON KINGSTON!!! |

This mornings Journal reckons there was 1200 there last night! That's more than the Vipers get haha
