From a Hawks perspective.

I've criticised Warriors previously for their discipline but I don't think it'd be fair to do that on this occasion.

Your team were committed (as were Hawks) and the ref did well - calling what he saw. Last night was perfect play-off hockey - a feisty, tight affair with both teams going for it.

At 5-1 down you were dead and buried, but DJ was very much the difference maker in the second - and for me should have been MVP over Lawson who was very ropey early on (although he improved as the night went on).

It sets it up nicely for tonight.

Saturday's game was, as whitmore said, a good, feisty play off game.

I believe it was richie's shocking 1st period that cost you the game. Yes you took a few penalties but I wouldn't say they were all needless.

There were handbags at end of 2nd but nothing out of the ordinary and I was quick to ask both teams to go to their respective changing rooms. I didn't see what sparked it but apparantly it was 1 of our players.
